Today I built up a mount to strap my DSLR onto the top of a tracking telescope. I gave it a test run tonight in the backyard before the light clouds moved in. The stars are much more pin-point in this 30 second exposure compared to my 20 second exposure on the fixed tripod last night. With the longer exposure I'm starting to see a bit of a tail off to the left tilted slightly down. Maybe tomorrow I'll drive out to darker skies with the new setup.
