Kelly's burned down in the winter of 1981-2. Shortly after that is was torn down. The lot sat vacant for several years with a high price tag on it - supposedly because the price included the liquor license, a valuable NM commodity. It eventually was sold and a home was built on the very back of the property against the alley. Later it became an art gallery. It is not in any way the same building that was Kelly's Café.
Hasting's pic shows the presently standing wool warehouse as well as engines (473 and 497 I recall) through the wavy glass with the word "CAFE" in an arch over them.
You could not get that pic from Kelly's place.
Also Vera once told me, what is now the Boxcar was RR beanery years ago. When it closed I don't know. They may have moved down the street to Kelly's as far as I know.
