Am I missing something here?

There is a movie you want to go see; a ticket costs $20.

Before you leave for the theater, you find out that the projectionist is going to let 100 of his buddies into the screening, for free. Many of those people are going to stand in front of your seat, limiting your view of the screen. Others are going to talk throughout the movie, making it difficult for you to hear what is going on.

Are you still willing to pay $20 to go see that movie at that theater?
