My apologies Bob

I was mainly thinking of the Bartholomew years, and didn't mean you. You know enough of the fiscal realities of things to know you're not going to get rich on this puppy. My point was that for someone to run the brake shoes to the wheel implies that they are hoarding funds for other things (ie themselves). IMO, this was the leading cause the Bartholomew era was such a disaster.
There has been much speculation on how the RGRPC spent the limited funds it had available and I really do not want to go there. Regardless of anything else, we can not accuse the RGRPC of paying too high a salaries to themselves or anyone else.
I've always thought that Scenic gave the best show for the buck (all passengers all the way through every day WITH a runby, and with a host in each car- GREAT!!!).
One last comment, I never said a "ton" of money, just money.
