Another book you might find useful: 'The Essential Guide to Swiss Heritage and Tourist Railways' Mervyn Jones - I bought my copy from Amazon. I did 'part' of Switzerland earlier this year and am planning to return in 2015 - someone described Switzerland as a giant train set, and the trains run on time. The Swiss Pass is essential and a laptop (or similar) to enable viewing of the SBB/CHF/xxx on line planner/timetable is a great help as well.
