The original glass plate for the photo posted by Terry Fosback showing SV #6 and passenger train crossing a trestle is dated November 20, 1914. The late Brooks Hawley thought that this was a newly completed trestle near Larch Summit that was later replaced by a fill.I don't know its name.
I've attached a similar (undated) photo showing #6 and passenger train crossing (Eastbound) a similar, but different curved trestle, with workmen standing on makeshift platform. I originally thought this was the Alder Springs Trestle, but the background is not correct for that location.
The second photo shows a "shoe-fly" trestle being constructed on the west end of Alder Springs Trestle, after that big trestle burned. It is one of four glass plates showing the rebuilding of the burned trestle and dated c.1910-15. If intersted I can post the other three views.
