Wall is a bit high, so perhaps you should walk around .
Would not surprise me about dual gauge switches. There were still remains of C&S dual gauge in the Denver Union Station for a long time.
When I shot my pics at Alamosa in April of 71, the dual gauge was all still there. The D&RGW had pulled up some of the third rail on the Alamosa to Antonito line (probably to keep it from ever being used again), but the yard tracks were still intact. The D&RGW was using a GP9 as yard switcher and for runs to Antonito and on the Creede line. They were using it with a dual gauge idler to switch cars for the scappers. Some of the card had no brakes as the scrapper had already removed some metal. It was interesting watching them switch cars with no brakes. They only did a few at a time.
I found portions of dual gauge switches at Salida in 1971. Guess the scrapping crew got hungry and went home.
