Re: Tracing the New York & Manhattan Beach

Hi,

I used to scan and sell data DVDs of Official Guides and Official Railway Equipment Registers and other antique books going back to about 1852.

I thought I'd offer what I found for the New York and Manhattan Beach.

The only information in my collection is from the 1881 Official Railway Guide.



Since narrow gauge railroads seldom interchanged equipment, they usually did not list equipment information in the Equipment Registers.

Non-common carriers (lumber company or brick yard railroads for example) did not list in any of the publications I scanned. Makes tracking narrow gauges a bit hard to find.
