I know the Cripple Creek & Victor Railway does not get much attention here but I thought this might interest a few people. Over the last two years the mining activity in the Cripple Creek District has advanced so much that the old town site of Anaconda is now buried under new mine tailings.
Also of note, the railway has been cut back by almost half a mile and the railway now has a new wye.
The Cripple Creek and Victor area is an area that is always changing. So it might be good to visit the area and see the history that is left because next year, a little more could be gone.
