They will haul things to Silverton periodically, and I know they hauled supplies to the AH Wilderness Guest Ranch, including the horses sometimes.
In 1981 the owner told me they made a special move to bring the horses up there for the final year. I think in the past under D&RGW, they may have brought the horses in overland(not by train). I have seen them unloading supplies at the ranch from the box car behind the engine.
