Today was hamburger day and all railroad employees are invited to chow down with the Friends. Work around the Chama yard shows much headway on the 83 with the entire boiler now being needle scaled and primed. Not done yet but it has come along way in 2 years. Siding going on the derrick car, and the Cinder Bear gon is now painted and lettered and ready for use. Chris Trunk has been busy attaching the knuckle couplers on one of the frameless (Gramps) tank cars.
Lots of work going on up on the hill with the car mans house getting repairs on one wall where someone cut a garage door in the side in the 60's or 70's, (perhaps someone here knows more info on that).
