Thanks for the calculations John, I have a 55hp Hale fire pump from gov surplus, and I need to check the specs, but I think it will deliver 100 gpm at 250 psi. Dan Pyzel tells me there is a tank inside of the Lava tank that everyone sees that will hold about 5,000 gal. It would be fun to drop a drafting hose in the river and hook up to the pipe and see what shape that pipe is going up the hill, but I better have a check valve, and a shutoff valve or we are gonna get wet!
