1) There is a difference in height between NG and SG (C&S loco class tenders) but SG could be used on NG. Water won't flow through the end of half lowered spout.
2) Why have I seen a photo showing 2 tanks at French Gulch that was not a time exposure?
3) If the wood tub was salvaged, why would the C&S rebrace the staves to install completely different bands and turnbuckles on staves that where at least 58 years old in 1943?
4) The SG tub is straight, the NG tub is tapered.
