Re: six-axle Porter?

Several of us at Orange Empire Railway Museum have mused over the possibility of ever getting USG 1204 back to Southern California from Flint, Michigan. But the reality of the cost of transporting it back from Michigan stops us cold.
OERM has 3' gauge equipment from the Southern Pacific narrow gauge and other California and Nevada operations. The core of the collection came from retired Disney animator Ward Kimball.
I saw the diesel several years ago when I went east to a TRAIN/ARM springtime meet at Huckleberry. At that time I was Secretary of the Association of Railway Museums.
