Re: six-axle Porter?

Not only does the ex-US Gypsum Porter diesel have six wheel trucks, it has spoked wheels with separate tires. From this it's easy to see Porter used to build steam locomotives. It's 75 tons, with a Cooper-Bessemer FWL6T prime mover. It has been out of service close to ten years, ever since throwing a rod in August 1990. We replaced it with a 50-ton GE "steel mill special". We advertised it for sale in Trainline 7 or 8 years ago, but there were no takers. We would consider any reasonable offer - of course, it needs a new prime mover if you want to put it back in service.
