Once again someone has gleened portions of a professionally produced program. I know Dave and have seen the Brazil original films which he showed long ago. He made at least two trips down there. The footage is from a program produced by Sunday River Productions, and has dubbed sound.
The originals are all 16mm silent. While the images are good the sound dub is not the greatest, and I even noted some sound from Norfolk and Western 2-6-6-4 1218. I am not sure Dave recorded any separate audio or not. Once he chased 614 with us and did have a recorder while he shot 16mm, but not sure back in the days of the Brazil shoots that he had audio FWIW. Dave did a pretty good job photographing a very interesting railroad. I had a chance to produce it, but turned it down since I knew it would not sell well here in the USA, since I had done the South Africa shows prior to this time. So now you know more than you want to know!!!
