Of possible interest, geologists representing the Camp Bird Mine were reviewing Camp Bird records that we hold in the Silverton Archive this week. Most of the Camp Bird's maps, records, etc were donated to our historical society. We also have all the remaining paperwork from the Sunnyside Mine and it is a substantial collection. There appears that there is active interest in reopening the Camp Bird, a little too late for the Ridgway branch.
