That is an interesting question. In 1972 the RGS yards were long gone but a small part of the roundhouse was still there. The standard gauge yards consisted of the main line and a siding. The really bad picture below was taken from the city park showing a boxcar and gon sitting about where the depot would have been. I have no idea what they were hauling, but a train did run to Ridgway every couple of weeks.
Other sites say the tracks were taken out in the mid 70's, but I know they did remain until "about" 1980 or 1981. I crossed them everyday gong down the driveway to my home.
