Thanks for the comments and suggestions about my Sunset K-series engines. Although I have little mileage on them (inchage?), I have concluded that the K-28 is the best runner of the bunch, looks GOOD in the green boiler jacket (easy PRR) too. The dark green matches the Pullman green passengers cars I already had on my roster. The 2 K-36's I have have yet to stretch their rods much, as I haven't gotten around to mounting couplers yet. I was really hoping that they would put out a K-37, but I guess I'll keep looking for a reasonable PFM or Westside.
