I am not real familiar with Sandstone, but didn't they attempt to purchase the entire line from Bethlehem to Ficksburg at one time? Or perhaps it was from Bloemfontein to Bethlehem. Surely there is not that much freight on this line today. It was always one of my favorite lines in 1984. Here are a couple of picks, including Sekonyela(Rock), which is not far from Sandstone I would imagine.
