Re: The Hunslet "Gwen"

Ed - Thanks for posting these shots of Gwen during her stay and departure from Los Gatos. We had not seen them before.

Regarding "Jack" shown in O anderson's photo - we've had the pleasure (but about 20 years ago!) Of visiting the Industrial Museum in Leeds, and seeing the Jack in operation. I was even allowed to handle the throttle on a trip over the museum trackage (since we had Gwen operating experience by that time). It's a very interesting and comprehensive museum, in addition to the operating steam equipment.

I had heard that the museum had Jack going through some repairs/refurbishment recently. Don't know current status.
