Re: The Hunslet "Gwen"

Hi Ed: When I bought "Gwen" in 1983 she was in worse condition than in the photo you posted. All fittings were missing as well as several other parts like sand box lids and builder and name plates. She was in good shape in 1991 having just been painted, wiped down and shipped off to Sacramento. We finished her up for our visit to Sac. in 1999 and two visits to Nevada State RR Museum in 2000 and 2006. I have had a hard time finding photos and information on her when she was at "Billys'" ranch. I would really appreciate copies of photos or other info. you may have reguarding "Gwen" in Los Gatos.
