I am glad that you made the post Bob. I didn't want to devulge Richard's name until I contacted him. Bobby Babcock told me that the move on Tuesday took all day and well into the night. The body had to be cribbed up and rollers placed under the body in order to winch it onto the flatbed trailer. Bobby Babcock and Donnie Tucker have moved several pieces of rail equipment over the years and are quite ingenious about moving items. The caboose body was sitting on dirt and several deceased oppusums were removed when it was lifted. From the photos Bobby Babcock sent to me several weeks ago, the caboose will need major work. I was surprised that the caboose was never noticed possibly since a buiding and large pepper tree was obscuring its view. Looking through some info I had in one of the Narrow Gauge Gazzettes, the C&S cabooses were different in their window styles. I guess the 1008 had quarter round corners which was similar to only one other of the cabooses. Good luck on the restoration. Ted
