NNG - First slide scans -Epson V600

February 07, 2023 07:47PM
My first Epson V600 slide & negative scanner decided to add a red stripe to my scans, so I ordered a new one, which arrived this afternoon. These are the first scans, using slides I happened to have on my desk - steam but sg.

03 class Pacific between Ulm and Lake Constance in West Germany in May, 1972. Time was about to run out for mainline passenger steam here

6 years later, in 1978, steam was still holding on in East Germany. Here an 01 class Pacific is backing to a coupling as lead engine on a double header

Well, I suppose this scanner will do for narrow gauge photo scanning
