The scanner can do 4 slides at a time. As far as negatives go, it can do 2 35mm negative strips of 6 frames each (Color or Black&White)*, or one 120 negative strip with two frames.

* I have only been scanning 5 negative frames at a time. The biggest problem with scanning sides or negatives is dust specks that are almost impossible to remove completelyby negative cleaning, and have to be removed after scanning. How negatives acquire dust specks in sealed storage is a mystery.
