It looks like the entire coupler head has been removed.
Don't be foolde by the "effective date" of the Appliance act, however.
Both the C&S and the D&RG fought converting their narrow gauge equipment claiming that they were used intra-company and didn't come under the auspices of the act.
The ICC disagreed.
