OK, there is an article in the Classic Trains Magazine Winter 2002 issue. It has a NYC Hudson on the cover, across the top it says Rio Grande Narrow Gauge Finale. This was an article by Al Chione with several pictures by same. Has some truely great pistures of 483 in her Good Guys Bad Guys paint as well as 481 and a fresh from the shops 473

There is a Picture of 0540 crossing the Continental Divide at 9:30 A.M.Friday Dec 6 1968 that says-

"Atop caboose 0540 is a spruce, cut at Sublette the day before by brakeman Denny Cummins as a Christmas tree for his mother in Durango."
