Many years ago I remember seeing the 85 operate in LA. After visiting what was left of the ORL and seeing the museum at Ewa, it seemed appropriate for the 85 to eventually go home. This is good news. It would be great if somehow the cubic dollars and manpower can be found for it to one day haul trains on the rather considerable track still available for the museum to operate on. The ORL was an interesting railroad in an interesting place, and thanks to the U.S. Navy and the museum an amazing amount of the railroad still exists. With a steam engine as an attention getter perhaps it could increase its visibility.
