Roger,
I like the first one and last one the best.
The partial light in the sky makes the first one.
I generally don't like shots with people posed, even if they are supposed to be railroaders, cause they ALWAYS look too phoney. I'll take exception to that rule with the gal on the rear platform cause she appears to be good looking in that black dress!!!
For the most part I prefer the classic night shots of the engines, and if you can work in a structure thats good also. Also Roger I like the last one cause the tripod appears to be more level!!!
