I have a question for you Roger or anyone that has mountain camera experience:
I have asked this on a few photography forums and never got a straight answer.
Will I see a decrease in battery performance when taking my Nikon D70 into the cold (like cold seen in the trip in May)? The thing is both of my batteries are about 5 years old and are showing their age. That said, one battery can take me through the day of shooting trains down here in Texas but I don't want to get half way to Osier and already blown through both of my batteries... Should I be concnerned?
Also will putting a dead cold battery in my jacket and warm it up, give is some charge back? Heard that one time, never have the conditions to test this.
