So were there problems in Montrose before the move? From the few pictures i have seen of the equipment in Montrose it looks like it was taken care of. I dont think they should have to want to have it back in Montrose to have a say it how its taken care of. Its is there locomotive!
I agree its a great display but if the park service isnt going to take care of Montrose's equipment maybe they should look for another locomotive & caboose to lease for the display. If Montrose doesnt want there equipment send it to Ridgway I bet it would be taken very good care of by the folks at the Ridgway railroad museum
