I see no advantage to "yelling" at Thor's friend on an internet message board which is comprised of hard core railroad fans.

This is akin to saying a woman deserved to be raped because she was wearing revealing clothes. The engine and consist are, and have been unprotected in plain sight for years. Thieves have in years past climbed up and picked parts off. Thor's photos do nothing to change the existing environment.

I did indeed think before I posted. I wanted to thank Thor for posting the images, but at the same time not praise his friend for breaking the law nor almost getting himself killed.
I don't see how it would have been better for him to keep the photos to himself. Now there's some current pictures of the engine, Thor's friend warned of the dangers of doing what he did, and there are responses on this board putting the event in a negative light.
