21 and over only cars

I'm starting to make my plans for this summers trip to the C&T and the D&S. I have never really looked at the schedules and options super close but now I see that the cars I want to ride are 21 and over. I will have a 16 and 17 year old with me so I guess we have to ride elsewhere!
I would guess the D&S reason is alcohol related so I can see that.
I can see not having little kids on these cars, but at 16 I think they should be allowed. On the other hand my teens are NOT like a lot you see today! Both RR's could get $150.00 plus additional out of me but I guess its not to be.
