Will you be camping, or in a motorhome / pulling a trailer?

I usually camp at the United Campground a couple miles north of town - "A Railroad Runs Through It".
The inadequate number of showers is my only complaint, but I'm usually up early so that is seldom a
real problem. Otherwise it's a very nice place with lots of trees and green lawn, and a small pool. The
City of Durango shuttle bus comes by about every 1/2 hour from fairly early in the morning until about
9:00 p.m., IIRC.   If you oversleep, the first train will awaken you about 15 minutes after it leaves the
station - there is a grade crossing between the motorhome area and the tent camping sites ...
