I've stayed at the Strater, the General Palmer, and also the old Travel Lodge, now known as the Durango Lodge.

All are very convienient and well kept. The Durango Lodge is the most economical, about half a block East on 5th from the Depot. The parking lot is across the track from the back of the roundhouse. Tough to beat if you want to be right there and save a few bucks.
