The Groundthrow, not so obvious in that picture, was of the weighted lever type that was very common on Sierra logging lines. Diamond & Caldor, Swayne Lumber, West Side Lumber, Pickering Lumber, Yosemite Lumber, Madera Sugar Pine and Mich-Cal from what I've found in my books of late. Most weights were of a rectangular shape, except spherical on the WSL.
