Hi, Greg -
Back in August, 2008, I posted the 15 best of my two dozen or so slides of the last D&RGW
revenue freights over Cumbres on the 40th anniversary of these trips - August 28 & 29, 1968.
You can check them out at [

Please let me know if you would like higher-res copies of any of them.

p.s. All of these and a few more of mine, and over two dozen each from Tom Gildersleeve and John West, plus a half-dozen scanned - with permission - from Ernie Robart's book* (83 photos in all) were featured on the "Help Save #483" Screen Saver that Roger Hogan was producing a couple of years ago. I'm hoping to get a second volume - covering the first 40 years of the C&TS - put together in time for the 40th Birthday Party in August to begin raising funds for a possible K-37 restoration ... if I can ever tear myself away from the great information and terrible puns on the Forum long enough to get it finished.

Rio Grande Narrow Gauge - The Final Years, Alamosa to Chama' by Joseph P. Hereford, Jr. and Ernest W. Robart. A must-have, IMHO.
