Thanks Jimmy,
I had thought that it might have been something like you described. It was I didn't know what changes there had been from any national agreement due to local situations/problems.
I guess that:
Was this a "special" work rule at Gunnision? Because, it reads as tho the job that Braswell had covered was adviertised as both (2) branches (Castleton/Baldwin & Crested Butte). Interesting that he got a basic day for both. Did they make him "whole" if he only ran one branch? Or did he have to grin and bare it?
Make sense that OT would beat out FTD, if on duty that long.
Engine change pay would probably not occur unless(?) there had been a change out on line, say due to an engine failure Should thought about that alittle more before asking the question.
Since that was basically a daylight job and with two basic days, Wonder if it went pretty high seniority wise. Of course, like at most terminals & jobs, it depends if your looking for the money or regular time at home.
BTW, was did Gunnision have their own BLE Or BofLE&F locals, or were their under Salida or Grand Junction by that time? I think they had a local in the early years, but not sure.
Thanks again,
Chris
