Good evening Jimmy Blouch,
1st off, thanks for taking the time to put these out. It is apprediated!
Questions:
I note that Clate Braswell on many days, makes a Balwin turn, gets back into his home terminal (Gunnison), then departs on a Crested Butte turn, and gets back in many times under 12 hours. Did he get paid for departing the home terminal a second time as a penalty? Or was this an assigned job to make both turns when traffic warranted? He would have gotten mileage for both, but how did the agreements work as far as the penalties go? Or initial or final terminal or engine changes?
Any thoughts? Thanks
Also, it suprises me how much traffic was still being moved on the (old) 3rd & 4th Division even in 1945.
