A couple of questions: how did engineer W.I. Marsh get to Chama in order to take Extra 481 back? Who was on the Extra 483 flanger turn?
I saw that Henry Nissen went west a couple of days earlier but did not see an eastbound trip.
I posted an edit to original post to indicate Conductor Roberts and Engineer Hurley on spreader flanger turn.
I believe Marsh displaced Nissen and both deadheaded, Marsh to Chama on No. 115 and Nissen to Alamosa on No. 116, January 26.

I double checked. Marsh displaced Nissen and deadheaded on No. 115 from Alamosa to Chama on Jan 26. While it was not noted, my guess is Nissen deadheaded from Chama to Alamsoa on No. 116 on Jan 26.
Marsh had been working Alamosa-La Veta and appears he had been displaced by Caldwell.
In an upcoming post Marsh and Nissen both work west out of Alamosa.
