I sure don't mind the standard gauge stuff along with the narrow guage, especially where Alamosa is concerned...I agree with you on that.
It would help though to indentify the engine types in the future. We all know the K Series on the narrow gauge, but the other stuff may be a little foggy. By the way when did they stop using steam over La Veta with the 2-8-8-2's. There is a breif shot in my dads films of one at Alamosa, but I think its dead, around 1954 or 1956 trip!!
I bet that was a great show on a cold morning with one or more of those monsters.
