According to the files from ghostdepot 5511 would have been a SD50. The larger 2-8-8-2 locomotive numbers stop at 3509 and pick up again as 3550. It must have been a sight to see such a huge diesel in those days!! I'm kidding of course, it must have been an error or there was a class of locomotive not listed on the ghostdepot site. I'm not even sure if the larger 2-8-8-2 ever made it over La Veta Pass-I'm in grey area when we start talking standard gauge. Hope this helps.
