Hello again -
The weather on the second day was a LOT nicer, but after it rained all night I didn't want
to take any chances getting stuck out in the boonies so I headed west on the highway.
There's a nice "S" curve between Los Piños and Apache; the snow fences were still standing in '96, but I didn't get a good shot of them:
Here's #463 whistling for the crossing at Apache:
After several days of cool weather, the trees near 'Lake Lobato' were just beginning to turn:
