Re: Roger's place is authentic

Hi, Eugene -

THE (Shamrock) HOTEL is an older place (1930's?) that has been extensively restored with
comfy beds and new fixtures. The rooms are upstairs from Barbara's souvenir shop & Roger's
railroad poster gallery, etc. There's a good view of the C&TS from the balcony, and a public
computer & WiFi connection in the upstairs lounge. The floor squeaks in a couple of places,
but IMHO that just adds to the nostalgic feel. Like JBWX, I've stayed there off-and-on since
Rio Grande days, and recommend it highly - IF they're open this time of year.

The phone numbers are 1-800-982-8697 and 1-575-756-2416
