Hi Tim et al -

I was VERY disappointed in the food at Foster's this year. Not near as good as it used to be,
and quite a bit more expensive.   I made the mistake of ordering some guacamole at - IIRC -
$6.95, and was given a large basket of store-bought chips and a small plastic cup - 4 ounces
at most - of mediocre guacamole. I succumbed to my curmudgeonly nature, and complained.
The waitress eventually brought some more, but IMHO paying $28 per pound for gooky-moley
probably does not entice the average mild-mannered 'flatland tourister' to return ...

Needless to say, I haven't eaten there since.*

* But the bar hasn't changed, and a Negra Modelo - or three - still tastes mighty fine while sitting out front with friends & fellow foamers and watching a K-36 making up the next day's train (or some crazy Schweitzer-Deutscher cruising by on a 500 HP bright-yellow bike) ...
