The Silverton RR was the first built N from town, to Red Mountain. The dashed line is its route. It connected to the D&RG and also the Silverton Northern, and later the Silverton, Gladstone and Northerly. All three of the Silverton Railroads were (at one time or another) owned by Otto Mears.
