Thanks for the on the scene report Fritz!
This next section is where it starts to get fun. The line snakes up the river past milepost 2. On the south side of the stream we have the 4 spurs for the Silver Lake Mill. This mill was supplied by a tramway that originates at Silver Lake to the south. At the upper right corner we have a 260' spur is the Wilfley-Mears spur (thanks Sam).
Just before milepost 3 we find another spur at 475' in length. I believe that this one is for the Iowa Tiger Tipple which was also fed by a tramway. The tramway headed south for what looks like about 2 miles to the Iowa Tiger Mine. This mine is to the SE side of Silver Lake.
