I think the dashed line is the original alignment of the Silverton Railway as built, and later it was changed to come off the end of the wye coming up 5th St. Some of the right-of-way past Snowden St, headed towards Red Mountain, was still very evident until work started last summer on the affordable housing going in on the old Walsh Smelter site. About all that was saved from the smelter site is the pit for the track scale and that is to be restored and will serve as an intreptrive site. We have yet to work out the details, but funding from CDOT is in place to do the work, lay some track, and make a nice display.
