Part of my motivation for visiting the National Archives was to come back with valuation map images that can be used as an overlay on the aerial photos. If any of you remember my trip report on the Morenci Southern from last spring, I had explored the remaining bridges on the southern end of the line. I had suspected that there was a wye between two of those bridges. I also had some questions on how the line was routed on the other side of the Gila River and how it connected up with the Arizona & New Mexico. This first overlay provides a view between the two high bridges that I explored last spring. The wye is right there were I suspected.
I guess that I'll finish this in a new post. I accidentally pressed post instead of preview before I finished my discussion.
