So right you are. The 200 through 227 were Grant products, after the first three Baldwins (22, 41 and 42 of 1878 and 1880, which became 228 and 229)proved so successful dual contracts were let to Grant and Baldwin in 1881. The latter delivered 240 - 295, the last of which coming in 1882. 223, a Grant (which has LOTS of Baldwin parts)is at Ogden. The two surviving Baldwins are 268 on Display at Gunnison and 278 on display in the Black Canon north of Cimarron.
